Content as a beginner must be so difficult and confusing. There are so many ideas, platforms that you might not know where to begin. You just need to begin with small steps and learn as you go.
Here are some useful points to help in your journey as a beginner.
1] Know why you want to create content..?
Before you make your first post or video, think about your reason for creating it . Ask yourself ,
the answer of your why will give you a right direction and keep you motivated. There will be many reasons for your “why”. Example Reasons

- You want to inspire people
- You want to earn money from it
2] Pick a Niche
It won’t be easy to make content about any topic, so at first pick out easy or any type of topic you are interested in. Choose any topic that you’re familiar to like –

And later you can change your niche according to your desire or what you’re comfortable with.
3] Choose one platform to start
There are a lot of platforms or social media you can make your content in but you don’t need to burn yourself out by being active on every platform . just choose the right one platform according to your type or where you’ll find more users . You can expand to other platforms later.
- Linkedin- for professional use
- Youtube – for longer videos, storytelling
- Instagram – for photos, short videos, personal experience

4] Be consistent
One main point every beginner should focus on is to be consistent. It is important that how frequently you post any reel, video or blog anything . Your content will get better naturally over time.

You don’t need to be perfect at first go. Yes, you can take a sort of help from it but don’t depend on it and especially when you’re blogging just don’t copy paste. Write whatever comes to your mind , because no matter what, a machine can’t feel emotions so it won’t be as good as a human could write.
8] Learn from other Content Creators
Watch what other creators are posting , learn from them, and try to improve your content from them. Look At :

Look what and how are they posting , is there something different and new in their posts that you are missing. But don’t totally copy their work just get a inspire from it, Be your own
9] Get comfortable with being seen
Many people are shy about being on camera or sharing their writing, this is normal but as a content creator you have to know how to face cameras, how to deal with audience. If you keep doing it, slowly you’ll get comfortable in it.
- If you’re making videos ,first record yourself to see if you’re doing good or where your flaws are. Don’t post it but learn from your mistakes.
- If you’re writing so keep your vocabulary and language simple and keep sentences short .
10] Check your progress
Analytics can help you understand what type of content your audience likes. Look at :
- Look at what post gets more likes or comments
- Which type of topic people likes
- What time your audience is more active

11] Keep learning
Content creation is a skill so keep learning it or explore new ideas and innovate something new.

- You can enhance your writing skills, or work on your vocabulary
- Improve your communication skill
- The more you’ll learn , the more you will get better at it.
